Inauguration Ceremony: A Day of Success and Festivities

On June 28, 2024, we celebrated the official inauguration of our new company building. The event, held on our premises, was a great success and attracted numerous guests from the business, political, and social sectors.

The festivities began with a stylish champagne reception at the large granite slabs in the entrance area of the production hall. Delicious canapés were served, providing guests with a pleasant start to the celebration and creating a convivial atmosphere.

Following the reception, guests gathered in front of the festively decorated podium for the official part of the program. Our CEO, Dr. Ernst Krüger, opened the ceremony with a heartfelt welcome speech. "This day marks a new beginning for GermanTwinScrews," said Dr. Krüger. "We are proud of what we have achieved and look forward to a promising future."

Anja Harms, the Deputy District Administrator, and Reinhard Hegewald from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) then gave their speeches. Both emphasized the company's innovation and economic importance for the region. "GermanTwinScrewS is a prime example of economic growth and innovation in our region," Harms highlighted, while Hegewald added, "GermanTwinScrewS sets standards and is a key player in our economic landscape." Their words were well received and underscored the important role of our company.

Dr. Krüger then returned to the microphone to thank the employees, partners, and supporters. "Without the commitment and hard work of our team, this success would not have been possible," he explained, receiving great applause.

Hartmut Schoon from Enneatech concluded the speeches with an insightful presentation on the carbon footprint of companies, highlighting the increasingly important role of CO2 emissions in the business world and how companies can actively contribute to reducing their ecological footprint.

Following the inspiring speeches, the buffet was opened. Our guests could choose from a selection of three main courses, followed by two different desserts. Meanwhile, live singer Janine Mayer provided a pleasant musical backdrop, perfectly complementing the afternoon.

At 2:00 PM, tours of the new company building began. Descriptions were posted on the machines in the production hall, giving guests an insight into the company's technology and operations. Additionally, an impressive art exhibition extended throughout the building, offering guests another intriguing aspect.

At 3:00 PM, coffee and cake were served, providing the perfect conclusion to a successful day. Our guests enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and took the opportunity to network and exchange ideas.

Overall, the inauguration ceremony was a great success. The day offered a wonderful mix of formal speeches, culinary delights, and cultural highlights. It was an event that will remain in our guests' memories for a long time and marked the beginning of a new, successful chapter for GermanTwinScrews.

In late autumn, we will host a plastics colloquium as the official opening of our new company building. Our customers will be invited in good time to participate in this special event.
